Who we are
CarUniv is the parent brand of Caruniv Technologies Private Limited (CIN U45300UP2026PTC256919), an automotive growth company with its registered office in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. This policy covers caruniv.in. Our software product, MarkGeni (markgeni.in), is governed by its own separate privacy policy. We process personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”).
Information we collect
When you request a growth audit, book a call or contact us, we collect the details you share — your name, email, phone number, business type and message — so we can respond and prepare your audit. We also collect basic usage data (device, browser, pages viewed) through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand and improve our website.
How we use it
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, deliver your free growth audit, and — if you become a client — to run and report on your growth program. We also use it to send service updates and, where you have consented, occasional marketing about our services. We never sell your personal data.
Data we process for clients
To run your campaigns we work with platforms such as Google (Business Profile and Ads) and Meta. When we manage marketing on your behalf, we act as a data processor under your instructions. Any customers, leads or revenue our program helps you generate belong entirely to you — we charge a flat fee and take zero revenue share.
Sharing and third parties
We share data only with trusted providers who help us deliver our services — advertising and analytics platforms (Google, Meta), communication tools and cloud hosting — each bound to protect your data and use it only for the service we engaged them for. We may also disclose data where required by law.
Data retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal and tax obligations, then delete or anonymise it. We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — access controls, encryption in transit and least-privilege access — to protect your information.
Your rights under the DPDP Act
You may ask us to access, correct, complete or delete the personal data we hold about you, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to exercise your rights on your behalf. To do so, write to our Grievance Officer at the contact below and we will respond within the timelines prescribed by law.
